Launching Direct-to-Patient Women's Telehealth Partnership

Identified an opportunity to launch women’s health capabilities and initiated a strategic partnership with Pandia Health to develop an integrated telehealth model which later expanded into a medication adherence model with their pharmacy.

This partnership enabled the launch of a seamless, direct-to-patient experience for Medi-Cal and Medicare populations, combining virtual care with prescription fulfillment and home delivery through Pandia Pharmacy.

The Approach

Designed and implemented a “digital front door” model that connected patient acquisition, telehealth consultation, pharmacy fulfillment, and ongoing care coordination. A key focus was ensuring the program complemented existing provider relationships by positioning it as a solution to close gaps in care, while maintaining continuity with primary care providers for preventative services and long-term management.

What I Built

Access + Acquisition:

  • Introduced a new telehealth service line to existing members and provider networks

  • Developed messaging to educate patients on accessing women’s health care through virtual channels

  • Positioned the program to drive engagement while aligning with payer and population needs

Experience + Care Integration

  • Designed a streamlined telehealth journey for hormone-based women’s health services

  • Enabled a frictionless path from consult to prescription fulfillment and home delivery

  • Ensured alignment between telehealth providers and existing care teams

Retention + Continuity

  • Built systems to support ongoing patient engagement and adherence

  • Established workflows to route patients back to their primary providers for preventative care

  • Reinforced trust across the network by integrating rather than disrupting existing relationships

Outcome
  • Expanded access to women’s health services for underserved populations

  • Reduced friction between consultation, prescription, and fulfillment

  • Strengthened coordination between telehealth and traditional care providers

  • Established a scalable model for integrated telehealth and pharmacy growth

Key Insight:
The success of telehealth is not just in creating access, but in integrating it into the broader care ecosystem. The most effective models expand access while strengthening provider relationships and ensuring continuity of care.
